How are the sites judged?

Anyone can be a judge with the Web Awards, whether you are a web designer, regular web user or complete beginner all you need is a set of instructions and a couple of hours of your time to review a number of web sites. The minimum requirement is that you must judge ALL the nominated sites in at least one category.

You will have to carry out your deliberations during October to create a short-list to be voted on buy the public. As with previous years we're using a points system to produce marks out of 100. It may not work that scientifically but it gives some consistent pointers rather than being purely subjective.

We also ask judges to add any helpful comments [we also ask that they try and be nice if they can!] so that we can feed back these comments to the people who've entered. Please get in touch with mark@scip.org.uk if you want any more information about becoming a judge.
